The Potomac Center is a transitional facility designed to help Maryland residents with developmental disabilities and mental health diagnosis to successfully return to the community. Potomac Center provides a short-term therapeutic residential and vocational environment for individuals with intellectual disabilities who are deemed to be in need of active treatment. Those served must be adults (18+) residents in the state of Maryland. The interdisciplinary team consists of personnel from the following professions: Residential, Vocational, Psychology, Psychiatry, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Nursing, and Therapeutic Recreation.
