‚ÄčThe Potomac Center is a Residential Center and is responsible for provided needed services to people who have intellectual disabilities, working to integrate these people into less restrictive settings in the community.

The Potomac Center is a transitional facility designed to help Maryland residents with developmental disabilities and mental health diagnosis to successfully return to the community. Potomac Center provides a short-term therapeutic residential and vocational environment for individuals with intellectual disabilities who are deemed to be in need of active treatment. Those served must be adults (18+) residents in the state of Maryland. The interdisciplinary team consists of personnel from the following professions: Residential, Vocational, Psychology, Psychiatry, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Nursing, and Therapeutic Recreation.
